Paige turned two on May 8th. Wow! We can hardly believe it.  Her second year brought so many changes - she went from walking to running and from signing to talking in full sentences.  We’re constantly amazed at how quickly she changes.

It’s also been fun watching her personality emerge.  She’s such a happy, sweet and affectionate girl.  She’s always giving hugs to her friends, the pets and us.  For as much as she’s sweet, she’s also very determined and strong-willed.  We’ve been seeing a bit more of that the last few months as she approached two!

For Paige’s second birthday, we decided to have a small, intimate party with just family.   Grandpa and Grandma Howard came to town to help celebrate.  For her birthday, we went to Reston Zoo in the morning.  Paige loved feeding the animals and had a great time.

After nap, we had a special party for Paige - we sang Happy Birthday, ate cupcakes (with Ice Cream!) and then had a leisurely present opening.  Paige opened each present slowly and then played with or tried on the gift.  She really seemed to enjoy her birthday!

Happy Birthday to our little 2 year old!  We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow, explore and learn.  We love you Paige!
